Well My ipod is not showing up on my computer through iTunes, on the desktop or not even a USB drive. But it still charges, it's not even saying Do not disconnect, so it's like I can't get it to show up on the Computer (Mac btw.) So I can't transfer music or anything like that, it can only charge a bit. Basically the system doesn't read the ipod although it charges but it works fine with other iPod nanos (I have an iPod nano Btw.). Can someone please help me? I'm very desperate.

Thanks alot,
Kai

my ipod went pyhsco a few months back, It just keeps saying "do not disconnect", eventually i did something and it told me i needed to "restore it." Done That!!! now I have nothing. deleted entire program from computer, stupid idea but it sounded good at the time, now i cant get it to say anything apart from "do not disconnect", it also tells me that the original itunes program i installed is not enough, because the ipod (when working) was updated gosh knows how many times, ANY IDEAS what to do?

When i plug my ipod in with USB it says connected as it should for about 5 seconds then says disconnecting, and repeats this over and over. Not sure if i need to reset the firmware or what but it would be nice to hear if anyone has any suggestions.

THANKS!!

I am having two issues with my iPod Nano.

1.) I can charge it with either the wall plug or the USB port and neither one gives it a complete charge. It doesn't matter how long I leave it charged, it never reaches "Charged" only "Charging".

2.) When I switch it on, I have to wait (sometimes up to 20 minutes) for it to acutally activate and turn on. It sits idle, totally blank screen, until I have to press the center button to get it to activate and the Apple logo to appear. After that, it works fine but the battery seems to deplete quicker than normal (compared to my wife's and my friends iPod).

I am willing to reset again but only if I can easily reload the current playlists.
Do I need to take it in to an Apple store for further assistance?

Thanks.
