		<description>Most laptops are made out of plastic so this corrosion pitting is very unlikely to happen. The problem is we all have levels of salt/acid in our skin that will transfer to the surface of whatever we touch. The pitting you encountered is a byproduct of this and in your case seems a bit more excessive then normal, maybe due to your chemical skin base, type of use (external Keyboard vs onboard keyboard), hot temperatures will cause a sweatier environment also, watches and rings can leave small scratches that will speedup the corrosiveness... 

I had a 2.5 year old PowerBook that near the end was just starting to show some minimal signs of this.</description>
